Damp, cold, melancholy – exactly how I like it.
Herewith some some photos from Wiltshire. The hobbit house…
and an apple tree…
Rosie with her bebe gun for frightening the crows.
Indoors the kitchen with its open fire beckons.
as do the stairs.
In the church the shelves need dusting – melancholy indeed
as are the poppies for Remembrance Sunday.
Such stormy skies!
And a bare tree in Surrey too.
I didn’t know you had been over here Elizabeth. Today, here in North Yorkshire we have snow and it is bitterly cold and damp not a nice combination.
I had a lovely time visiting friends and family. do hope you are not too confined by your beastly weather? Claudia said it snowed for three minutes in London yesterday!
Glad it’s not all like this. Yes snow flurries in London yesterday – a reminder. Nice and sunny today.
Sending warmest wishes – weather mild and damp here today!
I can feel the winter ! Lovely.
cheers, parsnip
Love how you capture the grey and the cozy- both so inviting.
Yes, I am missing england rather a lot just now!
